      6. The last scene filmed included the entire cast so they could all wrap the series on the same day.
      7. The song "Hot Child in the City" was part of the pilot episode soundtrack and the final episode.
      8. Had the series continued, Carol's payout from Cloud 9 would have been much more significant and she would've bought Sandra and Jerry's apartment building as a power move. This idea was scrapped when the show was cancelled.
      9. When asked how he thought the series would end, series creator Justin Spitzer said, "I always had in the back of my mind that this series would end with Amy finally leaving Cloud 9, but then that ended up happening at the end of season 5 anyway, so that was moot. The only other thing I always had in mind was bringing back my daughter, who was in an interstitial in the pilot getting on the potty. I'd always said that whenever we wrapped up the series, I'd want her to be at whatever age she was on the potty in the finale."

      11. The last song played is "Song for Zula" by Phosphorescent.

      16. The glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling of Parker and Carter's bedroom is a reference to the first episode.
      17. Eric shows his wedding ring to Bo at the reunion barbecue, indicating he and Mateo are now married.
      18. The idea of the employees watching tapes of their original job interviews was pitched as far back as season 2, but never came to fruition until the finale.
      19. There are several details on the wall behind Glenn at Sturgis & Sons, including a picture of Cloud 9 Store 1217 (Ozark Highlands) and Myrtle's framed memorial photo.
      20. There's a reoccurring joke of a raccoon infestation in the store, which was inspired by a real raccoon infestation on the soundstage where Superstore is filmed. This episode features a scene of the raccoons finally leaving Cloud 9.
      21. This season was originally going to end with half of Cloud 9 becoming a fulfillment center. Dina would become the manager of the fulfillment center and Glenn would remain the manager of the store. This would divide the employees into two camps at the beginning of season 7. When NBC cancelled the show during production, it was decided closing the store would be an appropriate ending for the series.
      22. At the reunion barbecue, Amy's daughter Emma is wearing a shirt for Northwestern University, which is located near Chicago (where Jonah is originally from).
      23. In the pilot, Amy and Jonah meet by a toilet paper display. In the finale, they reconcile by a toilet paper display.
