Olympics
S02E00 Episode aired 19 August 2016
- The female Cloud 9 customer who tries on a black jacket is McKayla Maroney, American former artistic gymnast, famous for her "not impressed" facial expression. Her expression became an Internet meme and she recreates it in the show, acting like she is not impressed with the outfit. Maroney competed in the 2012 Olympics.
- The mannequin that burns is the same one that Amy used to mock Jonah in the episode "Mannequin" (S1E4).
- Several U.S. Olympians make cameos in this episode. Figure skater Tara Lipinski, speed skater Apolo Ohno, and gymnast MyKayla Maroney appear in breaks between the main action.

- When Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) are on their way to strike negotiations, Amy tells Johah to take off his Fedora, saying, "You look like Carmen Sandiego."America Ferrera has said that the actress that she is most often mistaken for is Gina Rodriguez, who plays Carmen Sandiego both on the TV Series Carmen Sandiego (2019) (2019) and in the live action film Carmen Sandiego.
- Glenn's car is destroyed for the third time in this episode.
- The woman Garrett flirts with, Nikki, is wearing a Serenity tank top under her shirt. Serenity is the Joss Whedon movie that was a continuation of his Firefly series.
