1. Dustin Milligan stated that he had to kiss Dan Levy multiple times during the Spin the Bottle sequence. He says that the hardest part was getting used to the stubble.

Rock On!

1. When Moira talks about her "naughty night of debauchery" with Condi Rice and Sharon Stone at a casino in Ho Chi Minh City, she says the Vietnamese phrase "Tôi không bao giò thùa." Which translated means "I never lose."
2. In the scene where David tells Patrick to call the guy who gave him his phone number, if you watch in the background, you will see Antonio, the guy, from S5 ep10 - Roadkill, who tries to con Wendy and copy Rose Apothecary and David's image.
3. When Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy) walks in on Stevie (Emily Hampshire) snapping a photo of her breasts, it is reminiscent of his character as the father in American Pie franchise when he walks in on his son in many instances of a compromising position.

1. Patrick's surname, Brewer, is mentioned for the first time.
2. Annie Murphy wrote the song "A Little Bit Alexis" with her husband Menno Versteeg and their good friend Nixon Boyd.
3. At the very beginning, in the cork-board with the cast, you can see that one of the pictures (Adam Cox - "CLIFF") is the guy from one of the most famous memes, Distracted Boyfriend.
4. The song "A Little Bit Alexis" was inspired by the musical stylings of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.

The M.V.P.

1. Our Lady of Perpetual Sorrow, the name of the school that Johnny (Eugene Levy) says his Hebrew school would play in baseball, is also the name of Maddie's Catholic school in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2005).
2. In a YouTube video Eugene Levy confesses that it wasn't him who threw a rogue baseball that hit his son Dan Levy in his back. The ball was actually thrown by an associate producer. This resulted in the slide into home plate sight gag being done at least 25 times, according to Dan.

Roadkill

1. Antonio (Evil David) is played by Dan Levy's longtime friend Salvatore Antonio. He was also a writer on the show during the later seasons.
2. Antonio (evil David) briefly appears previously in the background of Schitt's Creek: Rock On! (2019). You can see him in the apothecary snooping around while David and Patrick are having a conversation. Even though neither David or Patrick paid any attention to their "customer", David mentions here at the flea market that Antonio looks very familiar to him.

Meet the Parents

1. Schitt's Creek showrunner Dan Levy wrote this episode making sure that to take care in the way that Patrick's coming out story was written in a way as to not show any homophobia or bigotry.
2. Second-highest rated episode in the series after season 6, episode 13 'Start Spreading the News'.

1. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dan Levy stated that the part where a tree branch goes through Patrick's shoe and into his foot came as he was taking his dog for a walk and he stepped on a tree branch and it went right through the soft part of his foot.
2. When Patrick and David arrive at the trailhead, the car's license plate reads "Township of Elmdale" at the top and "Pine Beetle Capital" at the bottom.

Life Is a Cabaret

1. Interestingly, the song Stevie sings ("Maybe This Time") was not in the original stage production of Cabaret. It was added to the film version at Liza Minelli's request. It was, however, incorporated into the 1998 Broadway revival, so having Stevie sing it is not a mistake.
