1. The dress Twyla wears for girls' night is the one Alexis wore for her high school graduation.

1. Noah Reid's (Patrick's) acoustic cover of Tina Turner's "Simply the Best" became a Top 10 single on the iTunes Canada chart in February/March 2018.
2. This is the first time David has worn anything that wasn't black or white or shades of gray since season 1.
3. In the cafe, Moira and Jocelyn are discussing the sex of the Schitt's baby and Moira is seen reading a book called "Hint of Amnesia." This is likely a clue for later events in which Moira is unable to recall the sex of the baby listed on the ultrasound.

1. In casting Stacey Farber (Rachel), Dan Levy stated that he didn't want to write her in as an "angry ex-girlfriend!"
2. Stacey Farber who plays Rachel, Patrick's ex-fiance, is 3 months younger than Noah Reid, who plays Patrick Brewer.

1. In a YouTube video Dan Levy mentions that he acquired a bottle of prosecco for the dancing scene. Noah Reid mentioned that Dan had chugged this bottle of prosecco down.
2. The town in Ireland that Alexis references in her elevator pitch is Lisdoonvarna in County Clare which hosts a matchmaking festival every year.
3. This episode mentions that David did in fact have a bar mitzvah.

Baby Sprinkle

1. This episode could be subtitled "The 'Oh My God' Episode. Klair says "Oh my God" ten times, Alexis five times, and David once. Additionally, Jocelyn says "Oh my goodness" at the beginning while in the Rose Apothecary, and "Oh my gosh" when David and Patrick are decorating the Schitt's house for Jocelyn's 'sprinkle.'

Singles Week

Merry Christmas, Johnny Rose

1. Paul Shaffer (playing himself in Johnny's intro dream sequence) has known Catherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy since 1972, when the three of them were involved in a production of Godspell in Toronto. Shaffer was the musical director, and O'Hara and Levy were part of a cast that also included Gilda Radner, Andrea Martin, Victor Garber (who would visit Schitt's Creek in season 6) and Martin Short, whose brother Michael is a writer for Schitt's Creek.
2. In the opening dream scene, the guy standing next to Alexis while Moira and David are singing their duet is Stavros. This is the only appearance of Stavros in the entire series.
