New Terra

1. Will be the first episode of the series to premiere on Amazon, after SyFy cancelled the show after 3 seasons. Amazon swooped in 10 days later and picked up the show for Season 4.
2. The science ship Edward Israel is named after astronomer and polar explorer of the same name, who joined the ill-fated Lady Franklin Bay Expedition in 1881 where he received the assignment of collecting astronomical, magnetic and meteorological data. After the resupply ship in 1882 did not arrive, supplies ran out in August 1883. He died in May 1884, three weeks before the rescue mission reached the expedition.
3. An announcement broadcast on the Behemoth says the Civilian Accountability Committee's assistance desk is open "24 and 2/3 hours." This is the length of a Martian day. The Behemoth is operated by Mars, so it uses the Martian day.
4. Meeting with his Mother on Earth, Holden's mom hands him a copy of Don Quixote. There have been several references to the works throughout the 1st three seasons, including the name of their ship Rocinante, which was the name of Quixote's horse.

1. According to definitions.net a saeculum is a length of time roughly equal to the potential lifetime of a person or the equivalent of the complete renewal of a human population. The term was first used by the Etruscans. Originally it meant the period of time from the moment that something happened until the point in time that all the people who had lived at the first moment had died.

1. Brian George played Arjun until 3rd season and replaced by Michael Benyaer for 4th season
2. Right after the scene with Avasalara saying that Gao has a great campaign narrative, Bobby Draper is scrolling through the names on her device. She comes across the names A. Wesker and G Freeman. These could be names of videogame characters Albert Wesker from the Resident Evil series, and Gordon Freeman from the Half Life series.
3. When Bobbie enters the warehouse to warn Esai's crew, the camera never cuts until Bobbie drags Leelee through the airlock. The entire scene is one continuous steady cam shot, more than two minutes. Or at least it is shot to appear that way; there is likely one stealth cut just before Bobbie gets up from lying in the airlock after the explosion.
