Pilot

1. When Mike (Patrick J. Adams) connives his way into the Harvard tour, he tells a prospect Dean Wormer wants to see the top prospects in his office. Dean Wormer was the dean of Faber College in the movie National Lampoon's Animal House (1978).
2. Although set in in Manhattan, the series is filmed in Toronto. In many episodes you see two or three yellow cabs parked outside the firm's office but you never see any yellow cabs moving on the street. And, just occasionally, you see a shop name, clearly in Toronto.
3. The man who had sexually harassed a former employee was president of a company named Devlin McGregor. Devlin McGregor was also the name of the "bad-guy" company in the movie "The Fugitive (1993)", plus an episode of Boston Legal (2004) (The Cancer Man Can) and an episode of Leverage (2008) (The Double-Blind Job).
4. At 00:46:51 Mike (Patrick J. Adams) is referencing the movie, The Godfather (1972), when he says: "I feel like Michael Corleone in that scene where that fat guy teaches him how to shoot that gun." And as Harvey (Gabriel Macht) confirmed, "that fat guy" is none other than Clemenza.
5. Vanessa Ray, who plays Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) love interest, later starred on Pretty Little Liars with Adams girlfriend (now wife) Troian Bellisario as a cast regular.

Errors and Omissions

1. When the parties attend the injunction hearing, the seal on the wall behind the judge (Currie Graham) indicates they are in a state courthouse. State courts have no jurisdiction over patent disputes, which are governed exclusively under Federal Law.

Identity Crisis

1. The law firm Wakefield Cady that got the leaked memos and Rachel has an interview with was named after director Steven Wakefield and the cinematographer whose last name is Cady.
2. Jimmy and Harold fight about who the person who leaked the memo was and Jimmy says something about Benedict Arnold. Abigail Spencer who lays Dana Scott on the show would later play a Time traveler who meets Benedict Arnold in the TV show Timeless.

1. When Mike is asking Donna about Harvey's time as A.D.A. and Harvey comes along and they claim they were talking about the Price sisters Donna is writing an email. When the camera pans to the computer screen you can see it's just several lines of arbitrary letters instead of text.

Dog Fight

1. In a list of movies Mike (Patrick J. Adams) asks Rachel (Meghan Markle) if she has seen, Gone with the Wind (1939), Citizen Kane (1941) and Dirty Dancing (1987) are all mentioned.
2. Chi McBride and Gina Torres both played in Pushing Daisies. While Chi McBride was a cast regular, Gina Torres guest starred.
