1. The reason Detective Barry Frost died suddenly was due to actor Lee Thompson Young's suicide prior to the filming of the 5th season.
2. When Frankie and Korsak start discussing a car, Jane asks, "Click and Clack, is there a point?" Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers, are the nicknames for Tom and Ray Magliozzi, the hosts of the famous Boston based radio program "Car Talk."

1. A lot of the photos that Jane shows at Frost's funeral are outtakes.

Too Good to Be True

1. Corned beef is so named, not because of the grain "corn" (maize), but because of the method of preserving it. Large crystals of salt were originally known as "corns," as were the crystals of saltpetre, each of which were formerly used in the preserving process.
