S13E01 Episode aired 22 September 2015
  1. Gibbs's Rule #45: Clean up your messes.
  2. The ship shown as the "U.S.S. Daniel Webster" is actually the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). The footage is a bit dated, however, as there are two F-14 Tomcats shown on the deck, forward of the island. F-14s were retired from service in 2006.
  3. Jon Cryer finally gets to be a real doctor after all those years as a chiropractor.
  4. Dr. Cyril Taft's wisecracking behavior during surgery was inspired by Hawkeye Pierce of M*A*S*H, show runner Gary Glasberg's favorite show.
  5. The USS Daniel Webster is a WW II era submarine.
  6. Jon Cryer and Mimi Rogers both appeared on Two & a half Men. Mimi portrayed Walden's (Ashton Kutcher) mother. Jon portrayed Walden's houseguest/roommate/significant other.

  1. At the beginning, the kid pretending to be a sheriff says to the man sitting in the park bench, "Now, don't let me catch you in Dodge City again." Mark Harmon played the Sheriff of Dodge City in the film Wyatt Earp.
  2. The Naval Vessel the team interview LT Kara Gifford on is the USS William Charette (DDG-130). An Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer.
  3. The outfit that Abby is wearing (at about the 41 minute mark) with the dark blue one piece overalls and red with white polka-dots scarf on her head is an homage to the WW II American "We Can Do It" posters. Earlier in the episode S13 E6 Abby mentioned the brain power of the three women, (Deliah, Abby, and Bishop); the "We Can Do It" posters promoted the women working at home while men were fighting WW II.
  4. The modified binary code that Delilah and McGee speak (and that Bishop uses to thank McGee later) appears to be Morse code. The 0s are dashes and the 1s are dots.

  1. This is the first time Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham) walks into the basement of Gibbs's house.
  2. The actor Jermey Ratchford plays the Baltimore cop Malone in this episode and then he plays a different cop in NCIS New Orleans where he was ex partners with Christopher LaSalle (Lucas Black) and he needs NCIS help in Season 3 episode 20.

  1. This is the 300th episode of NCIS.
  2. This is the second time Mark Harmon appears in a TV show with the song "Halleujah." In the Season 3 finale of The West Wing, Harmon's Simon Donovan is killed at a New York grocery. Jeff Buckley's version of "Halleujah" follows as C.J. Cregg is told of his death.
  3. The words Gibbs recites (in off-screen voice over) during his sniper stake-out at the airport are (the beginning) of The Rifleman's Creed, once a core part of USMC doctrine that all recruits would learn by heart: "This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless."

The location of Hmp Prickwillow located on the map of the U.K. Is a village in the county of Essex its call Wickham Bishops I assume after the actress Emily Wickersham who's character is Eleanor Bishop. Where as the fictional prison is named after a small Cambridgeshire village south of the city of Ely.

S13E22 Episode aired 3 May 2016
  1. This is the first episode not to feature Michael Weatherly, as he was busy filming the pilot for "Bull." The absence of Tony DiNozzo is explained by a trip to Russia, through which he actually lends various clues to the team without actually being present.
  2. On Jessica Terdei's MI6 application form, her home phone number begins (020). While this is the current dialling code for London, in 1984 when the document was written it would've been (01). Also, although the dialling code for Warwick (where her next of kin lived) would've been 0926, they've correctly used 01632 which is the code used in UK TV shows in the same way US shows use "555-XXXX".
  3. The English pub scene has a smokey look to to air, though smoking has been banned in English pubs since 2007.
  4. Reiko Aylesworth (Hawaii Five O) played Anne Marshall (Henry's mother) and First Lady Michelle Obama played herself in this episode.
  5. Reiko Aylesworth played Mrs. Marshall in this episode. Hawaii Five-O is part of the same universe due to crossovers that both shows have had with NCIS: LA. Reiko plays Malia Waincroft in seven episodes of Hawaii Five-O.
  6. On Jessica Terdei's MI6 application form, the National Insurance number starts 'KN', a combination that hasn't been allocated.

  1. Second episode in a row to feature someone from "24". Reiko Aylesworth played Michelle Dessler on 24 and Henry's mom on the previous episode. Sarah Clarke played treasonous CTU agent Nina Myers on 24 and FBI agent Tess Monroe on this episode.
  2. When Agent Monroe and Tim McGee are waiting for former Agent Kane, he asks her how long she and Fornell were working together. Then he asks if didn't she "just transfer from New York Counterterrorism unit few months ago". Sarah Clarke (who plays Agent Monroe) was Nina Myers, a CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) agent in Los Angeles, in multiple award winner series 24 (2001).

Family First

S13E24 Episode aired 17 May 2016
  1. Ziva's Badge Issue Number is 867-5309, the same as Gibbs', as shown in other episodes. "867-5309/Jenny" is a song released by Tommy Tutone in 1981, which was the only hit of the artist, making him a "one-hit wonder".
  2. When baby Tali says "kelev" she is saying "dog" in Hebrew, not the name of her dog dall like Tony thinks.
  3. The name "Tali" is pronounce differently in Hebrew than it does on the show, if the character Orli Elbaz really was Israeli, she would have pronounced it "ta-lee" and not like the American "a" that sounds like an "o" making the name sound like "toli". In Tony's flashback later on this episode, Ziva pronounce the name wrongly as well. This is probably due to both actresses not speaking Hebrew in real life
  4. As of May 2021, this is the highest rated NCIS episode to date.
  5. Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly)'s final (contracted) appearance on the show after 13 full seasons. He was one of the original cast members. Only Mark Harmon (Gibbs), Pauley Perrette (Abby Scuito) and David McCallum (Dr, Donald Mallard "Ducky") remained of the original regular cast, and Perrette left after the 15th season. As of 2021, Harmon and McCallum are still on the series.
