1. This show blends two actors who were stars of their own blockbuster TV series: David McCallum starred in The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (1964-67); in this show he's dating Cheryl Ladd, famed for her role in Charlie's Angels (1976-81).

Engaged (Part II)

1. In the flashback when Gibbs tries to start the Jeep he's shown turning the ignition key. Military vehicles use non-locking switches and don't have keys, which can be misplaced in urgent situations.
2. According to the death year (1977) on the headstone, the young Gibbs and Matteson should have been wearing OD green uniforms since the tri-color BDU didn't come into service until 1981
3. Gibbs' "love interest" back in basic training, shown in flash backs, is Marine Pvt Joan Matteson (played by actress Jeananne Goossen). She tells him she's got an assignment and if he get's a chance, to look her up there. She gets sent to Okinawa. Jethro is getting another assignment elsewhere. Awhile after, another flash back shows him receiving bad news, of a downed helicopter, which crashed off of Okinawa during a training exercise...Pvt Matteson was killed. At the end of show, Gibbs visits Arlington Natl. Cemetery, bringing flowers to pay his respects to Joan. [For those wondering, according to actual VA burial records, there is no internment listed for a Joan Matteson at Arlington, or anywhere else.]

1. This episode features 2 people from the Stargate franchise. Michael Beach plays Col Ellis on Stargate: Atlantis (2004) and Louis Ferreira plays Col Young on Stargate Universe (2009). They never shared an episode of any Stargate franchise episode.

Secrets

1. When questioned about the murder, Felix Quintero adds a superhero twist to the expression "why on Earth" - he says "why on Earth-616", using the 'official' designation of the 'primary' universe in the Marvel Comics multiverse (as opposed to, for instance, Earth-1610 aka the Ultimate universe).
2. Wendy's house is the same one belonging to Dana Hutton in NCIS: Obsession (2010).

The Tell

1. Mark Harmon and Jamie Lee Curtis previously appeared together in Freaky Friday (2003). In the original, Harmon's role was originally played by Sean Astin's father John Astin.

Playing with Fire

1. Joel Gretsch reprises his role of Stan Burley, Gibbs's senior field agent before DiNozzo, a role he had previously played only once in Season 1, eight years earlier.
2. The bikini photos of Ziva that Tony threatens to show to McGee are the ones Tony took way back in #5.18, Judgment Day: Part 1.
3. At the end, Gibbs hooks Harper Dearing's portrait on the "NCIS Most Wanted" wall, covering a barred one. The latter is of Osama bin Laden.

Till Death Do Us Part

1. Richard Schiff and Sheila Kelley playing Harper Dearing and his ex-wife, respectively, are married in real life.
2. Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays Samantha Ryan, also starred opposite Mark Harmon in the movie Freaky Friday (2003) where Harmon's character was named Ryan.
