Season 9

Our First Day of School

1. Sarah Chalke was pregnant in real life in this season.
2. Winston College is a homage to Scrubs producer Randall Winston, as stated in Scrubs Season 9 DVD.
3. Final appearance of the Janitor who quits in this episode possibly being glad to be rid of JD.
4. Neil Flynn (The Janitor) left the show to portray "Mike Heck" in "The Middle".
5. In the flashback with the Janitor he asks when he is coming back to which Turk responds with that he is gone for good after which he hands Turk his broom and quits.
6. Christa Miller left the show to portray Ellie Torres in "Cougar Town" with Courteney Cox, who guest starred at the beginning of season 8.
7. Judy Reyes (Carla) declined to do any guest spots in this season.
8. As of this season all episodes have "Our" in the title instead of "My".
9. This is the first season to take place at the new Sacred Heart.
10. This was the Final season of Scrubs.
11. It is revealed that Dr. Kelso is a widower when it mentioned that his wife Enid has died.
