- Jennifer Coolidge guest starred as Amanda in this episode. She later played Joey's agent, Bobby, in the spin off series Joey (2004).

- Rare episode in which no scenes take place in Monica's apartment.

- Although they share no scenes, in this episode Christina Applegate and Paul Rudd guest star. They've also starred together in the Ron Burgundy films.

The One with Ross' Grant
S10E06 Episode aired 6 November 2003
- Joey's men's lipstick commercial is an inside joke about how some famous actors made some embarrassingly funny commercials in Japan back in the 1970's and 80's. Several big name actors made similar Japanese commercials (for very large sums of money) on the assumption that since they would only be seen in Japan, no one in the West would ever see them. This was before the creation of YouTube, and some of these commercials have since been resurrected.
- The outfits that the girls are wearing in Joey's commercial is the same as Rachel is wearing while watching it
- In this episode, Monica initially doesn't know what "Gladys" is and is horrified at the idea of the artwork being in her apartment. However, in previous episodes featuring flashbacks to when Phoebe lived with Monica, "Gladys" was prominently displayed by Monica's front door.

- Last appearance of Aisha Tyler as Charlie Wheeler.

The One with the Late Thanksgiving
S10E08 Episode aired 20 November 2003
- Last episode featuring only the six main characters.
- When Chandler suggests the baby be named Hemmingway Bing, after his supposed favorite author, Monica challenges him to name one of Ernest Hemmingway's books. Chandler mistakenly names "The Firm", which was actually written by John Grisham.
- Monica says that "this thanksgiving is going to kick last thanksgiving's ass". This is a reference to the fact that Friends: The One with Rachel's Other Sister (2002) had such high ratings. And the actress who played Rachel's sister "Amy", Christina Applegate, won an Emmy for "best guest on a sitcom"
- Joey says "fine, you enjoy thanksgiving just the three of you" when Monica and Chandler lock everyone out! He is referring to the big vein on her forehead, but it's funny because Courteney Cox was pregnant during this episode and for the remainder of the season.
- Rachel tell Monica that she has to have thanksgiving because it's Emma's first thanksgiving. Monica says it's not and Rachel looks confused and ask "when was she born"? This is a joke, because of the confusion of Emma's age
The One with the Birth Mother
S10E09 Episode aired 8 January 2004
- The city skyline used in the establishing shot when Monica and Chandler arrive in Ohio is Cincinnati.
- The sub plot where Joey ends up eating his date's dessert is a follow up to something that happened in season seven's "The One with the Cheap Wedding Dress". There Ross and Joey kept mentioning embarrassing things they have done over the years. Ross asks Joey about a time he ate his date's food and Joey's date realizes that Joey must have eaten her crab cake when she went to the restroom, a situation not unlike the one in this episode.
- Jim O'Heir later acted in Parks and Recreation (2009) with Chris Pratt who was Anna Faris's husband.
- When Rachel, Ross and Phoebe are out shopping for clothes, Phoebe gives Ross a leather jacket to try on. The jacket reads "Boys will be boys" on the back which also happens to be the name of a tv show Matthew Perry was on in his early carreer as an actor.
- While giving Ross fashion advice, Rachel mentions that she does not know who is running for president, or who that NATO guy is. George W. Bush was running for reelection against Senator John Kerry. The NATO guy she refers to is most likely Retired General Wesley Clark, who also ran in the 2004 election.
The One Where Chandler Gets Caught
S10E10 Episode aired 15 January 2004
- In the flashback, when Joey has the turkey on his head, Phoebe says, "you have your head up a turkey's ass!" In the original episode, however, she said "you have your head up a dead animal!"
- The only episode including flashbacks from episodes earlier on in the series to receive an 8 or higher rating.
- Rachel mentions that Sarah Jessica Parker is raising a child in the city. Sarah Jessica Parker starred in Sex and the City (1998) along side Kristin Davis, who guest starred as Erin in Friends: The One with Ross's Library Book (2000).
The One Where the Stripper Cries
S10E11 Episode aired 5 February 2004
- The parts with Joey on "Pyramid" were shot on the "Pyramid" set. The "Pyramid" audience got a big surprise when they thought they were there to watch a real game of "Pyramid" but instead got to watch the taping for a "Friends" episode.
- Ross makes mention of a number of different people that he would like to see while at the reunion, one of them being Michael Skloff and another being Jeffrey Klarik. Michael Skloff is the co-writer of the iconic Friends (1994) theme song as well as additional music for the run of the entire series. Michael's wife, Marta Kauffman, was a co-creator of the series as well as a co-writer of the aforementioned theme song. Jeffrey Klarik is the lifetime partner of co-creator David Crane.
- There are several points during the episode when Lisa Kudrow can be seen trying not to laugh at Danny Devito's performance.
- The flashback of the dorm is actually the financial aid office at the University of Iowa
- The '80s flashback takes place specifically in 1987, as stated by Ross, and includes an appearance of Fat Monica.
- Danny Devito's character refers to himself as a "50 year old stripper". In fact he was 60 years old at the time this was filmed.
- In this episode, it is revealed that Ross (Monica's older brother) was Monica's first kiss ever.
- The wide-screen version of the episode has the "on-air broadcast TV screen" version of the game show portions in academy ratio (3:4) with black sidebars on left and right. The in-story non-broadcast studio sections are in the wide-screen film ratio, as usual for the rest of the entire run of "Friends". This is perfectly logical, as Warner Bros Television knew the future planned wide-screen ratio would be 16:9 eventually, and were future-proofing all of their Filmed Programming. Conversely, as "the Pyramid Game" was actually already being video recorded on 3:4 video, the onscreen graphics wouldn't have been designed for wide-screen that early in the wide-screen broadcast migration plan, as gameshows were considered fairly disposable. Remember this was before game show themed channels such as the Game Show Network and Challenge TV.
The One with Phoebe's Wedding
S10E12 Episode aired 12 February 2004
- This marks the second (possibly third) marriage for Phoebe. She was previously married to Duncan the ice dancer in a sham green card marriage, and implied she once married someone in Vegas (stated in season six's Friends: The One After Vegas (1999)). This is Mike's second marriage.
- When Phoebe walks down the aisle at her wedding to Mike, the song playing on steel drums is "Here, There and Everywhere" by the Beatles.
- Interestingly, Phoebe's wedding is not attended by any of her relatives, such as her twin sister Ursula, her father Frank (Bob Balaban), biological mother Phoebe Sr. (Teri Garr), brother Frank Jr. (Giovanni Ribisi), sister-in-law Alice (Debra Jo Rupp), or the nieces and nephew she gave birth to. However, there was a huge blizzard and it's possible those people weren't able to make it.
- During the exchange of vows, Rachel is standing behind Phoebe and looking off to the side. You can clearly see she is crying. During the filming, this was the time period of the breakdown of Jennifer Aniston's actual marriage to Brad Pitt.
- There is a Jack-O-Lantern/Halloween decoration on the top shelf of the entertainment center of Joey and Rachel's apartment even though the episode takes place in February.
- Right before Phoebe walks down the aisle, "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley is played on the steel drums.
The One Where Joey Speaks French
S10E13 Episode aired 19 February 2004
- Both Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc are actually fluent in French.
- It takes Joey 28 seconds to "drink" a gallon of milk.
- Joey suggests to Erica that she should climb to the top of the Statue of Liberty during her visit to New York. During the year in which this episode took place (2004), tourists were not yet allowed to climb up to the top of the Statue of Liberty due to the attacks on September 11, 2001.
- When Rachel and Ross visit her father in the hospital in Long Island, they briefly show the exterior of the hospital. The building is actually the John P. Robarts Library at the University of Toronto, in Toronto, Canada.
- When Ross and Rachel are at the Green family home, there is an establishing shot of the house. It is a red brick house covered in snow. This shot of the house is actually taken from the end of the movie Home Alone (1990)
- Joey begs Phoebe to teach him French, whereas in real life Matt LeBlanc speaks French fluently.
- The film playing on the television in Dr. Green's hospital room is the Ray Harryhausen classic "Valley of Gwangi".
- In the French dubbed version of the episode Joey is required to speak Spanish for the role and so Phoebe tries to teach him Spanish. When later saying goodbye to the director he still says "Tout de la fruit" as in the English version which may not make sense in the French dub as this phrase is actually French for "all of the fruit" which he should then know isn't Spanish.
- When Ross and Rachel are arguing in front of the coffee machine, Rachel stirs her coffee without putting anything else in it.
- The sign above the phone in Joey's apartment says "FIVE CARD CHARLIE PAYS 5 TO 1".
- Rachel's father has a heart attack, even though he is a cardiologist
- When Joey says goodbye to the director he says "Tout de la fruit" which litterally means "Everything from the fruit". However "tout de la fruit" isn't a correct french sentence either. He should have said "Tout du fruit"
- Last appearance of Ron Leibman as Dr. Leonard Green, Rachel's father.
The One with Princess Consuela
S10E14 Episode aired 26 February 2004
- Actor Alex Ball, seen in the background throughout the 10 seasons of Friends (1994), finally gets one line, as he says goodbye to co-worker, Rachel, who doesn't even know his name.
- Courteney Cox's character is credited as "Monica Geller-Bing." But Monica reveals in this episode that she never changed her name to include "Bing."
- Actor Alex Ball, who only has one line in this episode, does also have a small role in spin-off series Joey (2004).
- Actor Alex Ball also guest starred in Cougar Town (2009), which starred Courteney Cox.
- In previous episodes Monica stated that the house they wanna buy was owened by a man who lost his job and have to move in with his parents. However, in this episode Joey meets the girl who lived in the house and she mentioned her parents made her move.
- After revealing her change of name, Monica asks Phoebe whether they are supposed to call her Princess Consuela, to which Phoebe answers "I'll have my friends call me Valerie". Valerie is Lisa Kudrow's middle name.
The One Where Estelle Dies
S10E15 Episode aired 22 April 2004
- Maggie Wheeler's, Janice's, final appearance in the show.
- E. J. Callahan (Al Zebooker) is the same actor who plays the massage client who walks in with Phoebe's boss while she's starting to make out with Rick on her massage table in "The One with the Ballroom Dancing" (season 4, episode 4).
The One with Rachel's Going Away Party
S10E16 Episode aired 29 April 2004
- When Erica is going into labor, Monica has to sit down from freaking out. This is mocking as if she was the one who was pregnant. Courteney Cox was actually pregnant at the time of filming.
- Last episode to begin with "The One."
- The last episode with any of the main characters' names in the title.
- When Rachel makes sure that the gang will still visit her in Paris, Phoebe responds "in six months the statute of limitations runs out and I can travel internationally again!" However, just a year before, they all went to Barbados (a sovereign country requiring a passport to visit), so this wouldn't have happened if she couldn't travel internationally already.
- In season 5 episode 16, Ross announces that he and Rachel had had sex 298 times. With Ross and Rachel conceiving Emma being the 299th time, that would make this episode the 300th time they've had sex.
The Last One: Part 1
S10E17 Episode aired 6 May 2004
- The final episode drew an audience of 52.5 million people, when it was first shown in the USA. This was the fourth most watched finale in US television history. Interestingly, Friends: The One After the Superbowl: Part 1 (1996), in season two (aired 28 January 1996), had higher figures with 52.9 million viewers.
- Monica and Chandler's twins are 3 minutes and 46 seconds apart
- A DVD of the final episode was released a week after it aired.
- 9.64 million people have watched the series finale of Friends in the UK. Since then, it made three records. First, it was the highest rated program of 2004 for Channel 4 (UK's distributing Channel). Second, it was the highest rated non-British program for Channel 4. Finally, it was one of the highest rated ever for Channel 4 (excluding films, sports and special events), alongside the third series finale of UK's Big Brother (2000), which attracted 10 million viewers - which was the highest rated for Channel 4.
- At 15:40 when you first see Monica and Chandler holding their newborns, the nurse on the intercom is paging Dr. Matthew Perry.
The Last One: Part 2
S10E18 Episode aired 6 May 2004
- In the final episode, the song playing when Ross and Rachel have their final on-screen kiss is the same song that played when they had their first kiss.
- Courteney Cox was pregnant. When Chandler and Monica hold the twins you see her round belly and in a moving scene she is wearing a very wide shirt to cover it.
- Chandler has the last line of the entire series. He asks "Where?" when Rachel suggests they all get coffee.
- The final episode drew an audience of 52.5 million people, when it was first shown in the USA. This was the fourth most watched finale in U.S. television history. Interestingly, "The One After The Superbowl" (aired 28 January 1996) in season two had higher figures with 52.9 million viewers.
- In October 2016, Matt LeBlanc appeared alongside Lady Gaga on CBS' "The Late Late Show", and she asked Matt who he would have preferred to sleep with on the show, Courteney Cox's Monica or Jennifer Aniston's Rachel. Matt gave it some thought and said his answer was neither of them: he felt he would have wanted to sleep with Phoebe, played by Lisa Kudrow.
- The end credits play over stock footage of New York City's skyline and streets, all of which was used at various points in episodes throughout the series. This is the only episode in which this occurs; all other episodes without an epilogue scene use the opening credits footage of the cast around the fountain.
- When his short-lived spinoff show "Joey" began production, Matt LeBlanc noted that he experienced a strong sense of nostalgia because several of the sets used were on the exact same soundstages that had been used for filming "Friends".
- A DVD of the final episode was released a week after it aired.
- Highest rated episode during all ten seasons along with The One Where Everyone Finds Out.
- From: John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, NY 11430, United States To: Newark Liberty International Airport, 3 Brewster Road, Newark, NJ 07114. 42 min (33.2 mi) via Belt Pkwy and I-278 W. Ross would have made the flight.
- Rachel's carry-on bag is a Louis Vuitton tote; she is moving to Paris to take a job with Louis Vuitton.
- This is the only time that the apartment was shown without any furniture.
- In 2017, Matthew Perry was asked during an interview if he'd ever clashed with the show's producers over story lines. Perry said that while it wasn't a full on fight, he had refused just one story idea: the producers wanted to do a story where Chandler keeps going to an all-male dancers' strip club because they serve great sandwiches, and he simply didn't find the idea funny and asked them to nix it. They agreed to do so.
- Monica reveals that Ross spent a summer living with their grandmother to try and make it as a dancer. During the season 5 finale "The One In Vegas", Ross almost tells Phoebe his nan used to "lurk" to pay for his dance lessons, before changing mid-sentence to "dance-karate" lessons.
- 9.64 million people have watched the tenth series finale of Friends in the UK. Since then, it made three records. First, it was the highest rated programme of 2004 for Channel 4 (UK's distributing Channel). Second, it was the highest rated non-British programme for Channel 4. Finally, it was one of the highest rated ever for Channel 4 (excluding films, sports and special events), alongside the third series finale of UK's Big Brother (2000), which attracted 10 million viewers - which was the highest rated for Channel 4.
- To get off the plane, Rachel says that she thinks there's something wrong with the plane's "Phallange", which is part of the silly name Phoebe sometimes goes by. It sounds like the engineering term "flange". Phalanges are also the technical term for the bones of the fingers and toes.
- Both of this story's Part 1 & 2, (known separately as episode 10.17 & episode 10.18) in the 2 part edited version, confusingly becomes the alternate double length episode "The Last One" known as (phantom) episode 10.19. If the broadcast run the viewer is watching has series 10.01-10.18 then its all the 30 minute versions. If the run is indicated as 10.01-10.16 (seemingly skips 10.17 & 10.18) and then shows 10.19, that indicates the series finale is the alternate double-length episode version. (For example, Comedy Central UK & Ireland showed version 10.19 in late 2015 as part of their entire run).
- When Rachel first goes through the gate at the airport to fly to Paris, after Ross and Phoebe realize they are at the wrong airport, the guitar riff that plays is "Yellow Ledbetter" by Pearl Jam, which is the song that they play as a finale at the end of some of their live shows.
- It may or may not be that Phoebe's feeling about the plane that broke down is based on Final Destination (2000): they are about to go to Paris and the (maybe) left wing is broken.
