Bean counter is the slang term for accountant, which is Fenton's current job for Scrooge McDuck, but his job before that was a literal bean counter as he counted beans at a bean factory.

The code word to becoming Gizmoduck is "Blatherskite" as Gyro set it up, but Fenton always says his full catchphrase "Blathering Blatherskite" to become Gizmoduck possibly because he never knew he only had to say the second word.
